John Anthony Vineyards’ Tasting Room Table

You may have heard downtown Napa is undergoing a renaissance in food, wine and music. It is a very exciting time in town -- and Chajo is thrilled to be a part of it! We were selected to create a tasting table for the John Anthony Vineyards' Tasting Room that just opened in the heart of Napa's new "west end."

We designed the Tasting Room table to be contemporary, elegant and a little on the edge… reflective of JAV acclaimed wines so as to appeal to their discerning clientele. Crafted from a pair of bookmatched Bay Laurel slabs, the JAV tabletop has a gap down the middle, connected by two bronzed discs. The base features two bronzed stanchions designed to support the top in a geometric and subtle way.  Dimensions: 96”L x 44-46”W x 30”H. 

While John Anthony Vineyards' wines certainly sell themselves, we're pleased that the Tasting Table plays a small role in enhancing the wine tasting experience. We're currently working on a customized version of the table design for a private client -- more on that soon!

Chajo is known for its design/build capabilities in wood, metal and stone, in functional forms. All work is done in our Napa Valley workshop, and we welcome collaboration and visits to our studio by appointment. Chajo work is sold through select fine art + craft galleries, and by private + trade commission.
